Malagüero Films is a young and dynamic production company founded by César González Álvarez and Mario Felipe de la Maza. Our passion for storytelling has allowed us to build a constantly growing trajectory, supported by diverse talents and projects developed in Chile, Italy, Canada, Argentina, and Tunisia. We specialize in the development of films, series, and documentaries, focusing on local narratives with the potential to resonate internationally. Our goal is to connect the stories of Latin America and Europe, offering a unique and enriching vision of both worlds.

We have carried out audiovisual projects delving into history and narrative, ensuring our works are present at major international events such as Iberseries Platino Industria, Sitges, SANFIC, and CinemaChile, as well as numerous festivals around the world. Our collaboration with entities such as Castello Errante: Residenza Internazionale del Cinema (Italy), Occhi di Giove (Italy), CurrentSee (Canada), Jirones de mi Vida (Argentina), Ritmo Estudio (Chile), Manos de Tijera (Chile), and BNC Music (Italy) has been key in the management, coordination, development, and production of our projects. Since 2025, Malagüero Films has been a member of the Association of Film and Television Producers (APCT).
